how much should it make?

I currently have a mid size site that gets about 5200 visitors and about 80000 hits.

From YPN I make average $18/day. Do you think that's good? or should I switch to Adsense???

if per day then you forgot to optimize your ads -- see google heat maps and other recommedations - they surely always might be a valid guideline for OTHER ads as well
there is plentiful docu available on how to optimize your adsense that will help how to optimize any ads
niche certainly is the key factor for eCPM
with a target of 5% CTR as goal in a ad-optimzied page layout on a site wide average
you can calculate what you should get
depending on niche/industry you write/publish an eCPM of 5-15$ may be normal
times 5000 visitors/day
means anything from 25 - 75 us$ / day for "normal" niches might be a very reasonable goal for a ad income

 

Well, the amount you make would depend a lot on the niche. YPN has the reputaion for higher cpc while google has much better relevancy in terms of the ads that appear. You might get higher CTR with adsense.

 

YPN pays more than adsense but you should try both in case adsense gives u much many more clicks...

 

just to see how much I can make, I'll go ahead and try Google ads for a day and see the results. I'm tired of same ads by ypn anyways.
