How much $$ without investing?

That is the question of the day... How much do you make - but only if you have a web project that is running on zero - or very close to zero - dollars. I'm talking expenses to a domain name only, preferably not even that.

How much can you make then?

I would have to claim a sad $100 a month these days... maybe upwards to a $125-$150 on a good month. The important thing is its going up from around $10 a month last year and aiming at $250-$500 a month by the end of 2007.

Not a lot, but it is only a late night "hobby" for me (got a serious day job) and I only pay for domain names - nothing else!

I would suggest find the best online business, many of them are promoted on line. Just the matter of to be wise to choose it. Its need advise from an expert one.

The further step is of course promote it. Its also need a basic and an advance training. So far as my exp. the Google Adwords and Email Marketing are the best effective ones.

However it is advisable that if we have small ad budget then FREE posting is the good choice until we get sufficient amount and knowledge to do the paid advertising.

If you start from zero and invest all your earnings back to your site, then any number is possible.

If you don't invest the money back then it is very difficult to reach the point of living from your sites without spending a dime.

Being an affiliate for established sites can help you achieve this. Lots of them offer free hosting and content if you are promoting their products for a percentage profit.

Thank you for all the helpful suggestions and opinions on the subject!

I did however ask merely how well you guys'n girls are doing, IF and when you are on a project budget of (almost) no money and only the efforts of your own time and know how.

It appears to be true from the feedback I've received so far, that it takes money to make money, and that no one succeeds only on their wits, know how, skills and labor. Pity that is.

Other than my time I don't really invest money into my site and yet it does better than yours does. I've been at it a few more years though. For me it's really about building content > promoting & building links > building content etc.
