    Hi Guys

My question is, How much would you pay to register a domain name (Using eNom Registrat). Tell me your "At Least" & "At Most" price.

The domain tlds available are .com .net .org .info .biz
The registration service would be fast enough (1 hour at the most) along with few other extra features.

Why I am asking this ???
Well, basically i am looking forward to start an affiliate business so just getting ideas.

    Thanks in advance. :)

I am not going to pay more 8.95 and prefer to catch a sale and buy them cheaper than that.

Newbies may be suckered in to paying more.

If you doing a value added service as a designer who is also securing the domain for the client who doesn't want to be bothered with the whole thing than $15 for a straight sale or more if you are going to be in charge of the details.

I would only pay GoDaddy prices for .com, .net, domain names. And you own them right away, you don't have to wait an hour for them.

It seems like your creating yourself some extra work as an affiliate, someone buys a domain thru you, you turn around and register it then go back to the buyer and say hear is your domain name and I just made myself a quick 5% - 10% or .07 for the trouble.

Is it really worth it to you?

The most I would pay is probably 8.88 for a domain at Namecheap. It usually takes a few minutes to get everything active. But nowadays, I am paying $7.98 for a .com . Of course, I could get them for $6.99 if I register it through Domainsite.com .

The domain sales market is not going to be very profitable in today's context since almost everyone who is established is already selling them for rock bottom prices. The most you probably would ever make is a few cents per domain and if you do not have the volume, it is hard to sustain the business if that is all the services you are providing.

Enom may require you to pre-pay to get better prices but that means you may be tied up unnecessarily with them.

I will not pay over $6.99 for a domain since anyone can get them at that price without any coupons at domainsite.com

I think on GoDaddy mine come to $6.73 using the sales and code at the end. I wouldn't pay more than that. Even if there's a good domain out there, I think there are more than enough that are still completely marketable and not already registered. None of mine are probably "valuable" in and of themselves, but I've been really happy with them, and I can make them work... that's what matters.
