How to Attach My Newly-bought Domain to a Wordpress Blog?

    I bought the domain name, stormhawksociety.com, from Google Domains, but was unable to follow the directions, apparently, and could not get any aid from either Wordpress or Google Domains to straighten things, given nether have help hotlines to paying customers, apparently. Anyone have any advice for for me now? Apparently, you need to go through the domain site to attach, and not the host's, in this case, Wordpress. I did this once, but then a again, I may have done this with help through Fiverr; can't rightly recall. Oh well; should I keep trying on my own, or apptempt to get an expert?

    Hm; do I also need to buy a Host site, too, as well as a domain, which are both separate from Wordpress, basically? (Pray pardon my naivete; I be rusty.)

    the steps I would expect you to follow (but I've never bought through Google Domains)
    • Hosting
      • purchase hosting
      • get the DNS nameservers for your new account
    • Domain
      • purchase domain
      • add the DNS name servers info to your domain
      • wait 48 hours for the domain name to "resolve"
    • While you're waiting
      • there should be a temporary URL that you can use to start working on your site and probably even a tool to automatically install Wordpress.
      • Start making the changes you want, installing security plugins, picking your theme, and adding your content.

    You can add the domain you have purchased to wordpress website which will be easy but you will have to purchase WordPress premium . Which will be a little bit expensive its better to use hostinger or godaddy . There are many hosting plan which offers free domian which would be the cheapest way . I can help you if you like
