    Hmm, double sided.... I've always had two copies (front and back) in photoshop and printed on either side...

    I am now curious of this answer myself, anyone know?

    Set your document size to be legal and 300 dpi for print purposes and then start designing.

    The software you choose isn't important, the print standards are. Make sure you are working in CYMK mode, make the page size the printed paper size, and the dpi at 300.

    Side note, you should have a very strong computer. The advantage of vector programs (Illustrator, InDesign or Freehand) is that they let you work on your design, leaving the photos at a low quality for speed.
