    Hey guys,

I was wondering how do people find early trends to know what to base their website on? I always wonder how people knew what would be the next big topic like "2012" and the "illminuati" and stuff like that

Are they using programs?.. or Websites to gain this data?

The program to use is your mind. Just think about what would be interesting for you or check what the Trends on Google tell but it's not the best way to base a site on some trend because you want to build a site.

I think this is the hardest point to tell if a trend is just a short one or a one that will stay longer. Sometimes you can tell right in the first moment you hear about but there is no right way to fight out (as far I don't know about one)
