    You've got some good tips for getting more followers but make sure that once you have enough followers, don't just forget about your site and the content on it. Maintain the quality of the content at all times and you'll be sure to have a steady flow of followers without looking for them!

    Yes you are right the maximum no. of followers 2000 and then if followers and following ratio is good then you can add more followers.

    Promote your twitter accounts in your blog post.
    give your twitter user name in your all social profiles and interconnect all of them.

    Let your list evolve naturally. don't just add 1000 people in two days just because you can. It is far better and more productive to add smaller number and have more quality instead of thinking bigger is better.having a large number of people you follow in a short time can be a red flag for people and sign for a spammer.
