How to generate traffic to your website or blog

Do you believe that you can generate 1000 visits to your website/blog in a day.The trick is that you should try and have a minimum of 2000 friends on your social network account then you should post something that will make them to visit your website/blog.It has been discovered that at least 50% of people who visit your website or blog will click on something including your advertisements if you have them.

 

I'd rather have 1,000 natural visitors per month than 1,000 in a day. Unless you're actually going to monetise these visitors than it's a waste of time. And if someone visits your site via facebook/social media and you're making money through Adsense than i doubt you're going to see a CTR of 0.5% or higher.

 

yes it is a now very good technique to drive traffic in your site. many web professionals are doing this and suggesting this.it is a very good seo technique too.

 

Yeah you are right atleast not 50% ibut 30% followers can be your regular visitors if you present the quality and informational, knowledgeable thing

 

Have you tried it? I think for me, I have no such 1000 or 2000 friends in my FB because I still consider my FB account to be personal. I would love to have many hits without risking my privacy. Hence, it is fine to use other ways.

 

Important to note that even if you generate 1000 visitors a day, if those visitors are not targeted to your niche they won't stay on the site or click ads. So make sure you promote your blog or website at places similar or about your niche. For example; niche=football; if you want to promote your link on facebook, search and join groups about football or sports and post your link there.

 

This is good trick if someone has new site or blog. But it will be risky if you running adsence ads and those regular visitors click ads daily.

 

Just do some off page and SMO for your blog.

 

1000 visitors /day from social network is quite good... but the 50% you're talking about i think is over evaluated. i have 790 friends in FB and i regulary post funny pictures/videos links on my wall... less than 20% are actually interested in the content i'm posted...

 

you should target friends or fans according to your products and services. if you share relevant to their taste then you can 50% conversion rate.

 

Yes it is a good idea, increase visitors by leveraging social networking sites like facebook. but the content must also be truly informative so visitors happy with the blog you create.

 

It need SEO after that a lot off traffic will generate on your site.

 

Use original content at your website or blog because google likes purity .

 

Well, I guess it could help you increase your traffic. But you have to make your post or shared content appealing enough to attract them to click on your links or ads pointing to your site.

 

well don't know whether it might help or not, as many have given their opinions, i feel FB is something personal to me, need to get traffic by some other means, any ways thanks for sharing your ideas.
