    Hi, with a big market place like DP, what topic do you think would be the best to have a good start, but also provide something useful?

    Well, the first thing to do is see what other DPers are posting about, asking questions about, etc. Those topics are of immediate interest to the posters and possibly others. Good place to start by jumping into those threads with your thoughts and opinions.

    Beyond that, if you have special skills or knowledge on a technology, marketing, or other such related topic (remember, this is an Internet Marketing forum for webmasters) you could start a thread on that subject.

    Mostly, just get involved with topics that interest or are important to you. If you find yourself learning a bit, sharing a bit, and enjoying your time on DP, you are likely using it correctly.
