    yahoo is the fastes way to have an index compare to google.. just more works on social bookmarkings, social networks etc.. it will give you more backlinks.

    I don't think yahoo uses google search anymore. To index your site though, you should do it manually.

    I must admit I cannot prove it works but the idea is that every time I pull up my Yahoo home page the RSS feed to my site comes up and so Yahoo "knows" about my new content. The objective was to get new content indexed faster. I also use this for iGoogle. Its no extra work for me since I already have RSS and I already visit my home pages on a regular basis.
