How to Get More Facebook Fans - An 8 Million Fans Example

I made a thread previously stating that you should have a landing page for your fan page with a clear call to action, including an arrow pointing to the 'like' button.

I just found an absolutely awesome example...

I guess if it was my own fanpage with such call to "like" there won't be so much fans.

Redbull is well-known brand. They already have millions of fans. This is not a surprise for me

 

Good example, although since so many people already "like" Red Bull in real life, or at least have heard of it, it is far more effective for them to do something like that than for any startup site or product.

Redbull = big name brand with a multi-million dollar advertising budget..... you can't use them as an example of something a "poor dev" could do

This looks cool, I think what you have to do to increase your fans is to target your niche. This can be done through joining groups, and online discussion to promote your page. You can also add facebook fanbox(html generated code) in your blogs.

do take note facebook is changing their coding, this is written in fbml, they are apparently changing it from fbml to html, so i'm not sure if this code will also be lost

That red bull page is unreal, however it's true that they already have a fan base to work with.

It's actually a really simple code you can find. If you search free viral fbml codes you should be able to find a couple sites that give you sample of such fan pages or somethign similar
