How to get rid of PSA's ads?

    On my forum, The Pets Club, I have a large banner on the left for adsense.

    It's only showing Public Service Ads...

    Is there a way to correct this?

    There probably are some "bad" words on your page.

    At a glance I've noticed medicine, cruelty. Profanity , medication .. probably some of these make google stop showing good ads.

    If you're good with php, create a php site that would randomly display amazon ( or any other company) ads and insert the url to this php file in the Alternate URL when creating your Adsense banner. This way when there are no ads to display, Google will fall back to your ads.

    How long has the ad been up on your site? If the site is new, and the ad has just been put on a few days, you'll just have to be patient. Google hasn't crawled enough of your site to deliver you correct ads. The length it takes Google to serve correct ads to forums is the same as with blogs -- unless your site is already established with Google's index, you'll just have to be patient.
