How to get traffic from Pinterest and LinkedIn?

I have been trying to attract some traffic towards my website through Pinterest and LinkedIn but just wanted to seek a piece a advice on this matter. Linkedin shares don't usually work in driving traffic while its very hard to get to front page of Pinterest.

You just have to continue pinning and repinning your own content or material, commenting on other users, and following them as well.
Gaining a huge amount of traffic doesn't happen in a day.
It takes a regular and consistent effort of actively using LinkedIn and Pinterest to achieve your goals.

Pinterest is all about sharing good content/images so make sure to do your research and find images that will be interesting for the people in your niche, something that they would want to share to others. It does not necessarily have to be content from your site but it would be great if it is.

pin a content, re-pin it, write comments, provide links... that's the way how pinterest works. Though the pin should be attractive so people can find it worth to share or visit the link you have provided. It's hard to be on the home page of pinterest but not impossible. I have tried and my pins have been on home page. Pinterest drives a satisfactory amount of traffic, all you need to so is pinning.

You should join groups on linkedin and share your latest stuff and website links on these groups then you should share pictures on pinterest and try to get good figure of followers, hopefully you will get good response in short period.

 

The best way is to be consistent and persistent in posting good quality content on a daily basis. It could be images, videos, articles, etc, anything interesting that your audience is interesting in. You need to make your page or content sticky as possible to make your visitors come back to you for more.
