How to get traffic to Digg and Stumbleupon?

I have been submitting my blog pages to Digg and Stumbleupon but really don't know what else to do to get traffic to these sites.

What I have been doing is to submit my pages to these sites.

What else should I do to get traffic to them?

Find sites/blogs similar to yours and leave comments. Be sure the comments is on subject and genuine. Don't forget to put your website URL in the appropriate field.

 

To get traffic to your websites, you could try submitting them to Facebook as well. Whenever I write an article I add my link to my post. And my friends read my articles. It helps get more traffic. I recommend to also do Guest Post's on other blogs and leave helpful comments on other same niche blogs. This will drive lot's of targeted traffic to your websites. Hope this helps.

 

To get traffic from these two sites, do some cross bookmarking. Digg, stumble, vote and comment on all the other articles in your niche and make friends with those users. Make sure you are one of the top 10 diggers or stumblers soon after a new bookmark is posted from your friends. This way you will be noticed by them and they will reciprocate the favor. Same like any other forum, be a regular commentator of their bookmarked articles, remember to write something related to the article so it looks genuine.

on these sites , you need follow some people , then get some followers , then persist to submit links every day .
Maybe you can also submit yoru links to reddit.com . try them !

I am totally agree with China Girl. We should make friends, be a regular reader, and also do comments on others post. This will help you to catch their attention and then they value you.

 

Make friends, and make sure all friends are interested in which you are sharing, means try to find stumblers who are sharing same topics as you and share your friends post into your profile as well.

To get high traffic on Digg, you have to come on homepage or first page for your story category. To get such result you have to become authority on Digg (have many followers, friends, have commented on other stories) in short you have to become a bit popular.

 

From looking at the above posts im definitely not making the most of my Digg

Did u install stumble upon addon. on stumble firstly u need to be quite patient. then start adding bookmarks on your pages plus add the topics of your interest in to your profile n follow the people who have the same interest as you then they might follow you. when you have reasonable following you can share your posts with them

 

Ya i will definitely follow your advice and will try and get as many followers as i can.

You should be able to interact with other users so that in a way you can share with them directly your product.
Example is in Digg. You can digg other's submissions, and in return, might digg your posts as well and visit your website.
