How to get your company name at the end of FB

Hi there,

Ok, I've been trying to get my company name on FB & am having some issues.

I want... www.facebook.com/companyname like all the large companies do it.

Someone told me you have to change the "user name", but when I went to try & edit that area, it says...

If you have a mobile phone that can receive SMS message, you can verify via mobile phone. If not, please try to register your username at a later time.

I don't use SMS.

Any ideas?

I don't remember having to verify first before being able to set a username. Are you already verified by email? If you're really desperate you can use your relative or friend's mobile, it's only a one time message, no spams or w/so/evers.

 

Yes of course, I've had these accts. for months or even over a year.

Most of the people I know don't have SMS either.

I think it is something new that they put it for this because of the rush of so many people registering accounts when they added this feature. Perhaps, if you need it that badly, you can put up an ad for the help.
