How to increase my picture gallery site's ctr?

    I have this site http://cars.bayaw.com/ a car photo gallery averaging 100 unique a day. But I got very low CTR averaging less 1% only... I am wondering if someone have the same type of site that having better ctr and how to increase the ctry?

    Maybe you can put some description down, it's not only going to help the keyword, also give visitor something to read other than AD.

    The site is purely photo gallery site, that is the reason why there is no other text except pictures and rss feeds

    id be careful with those pics above the ads, today google wrote me and told me to take the pics away from the top of my ads, my layout was similar to what you are doing.

    its not worth your account being banned.

    hi friends
    i am new to this forum. for optimizing adsense for pictures pinoyito you have to use your keywords in "alt" tag as said trichnosis.

    you can put the thumnails much smaller in the left side then draw a line using <hr> then paste adsense code. choose the format which best aligns with the thumnail size.

    also don't put all the codes in the upper fold. it looks congested. one ad in upperfold one as footer and other in the middle.

    Careful - when I clicked on the Acura RL picture, it pulled up a page which seems to have too many ads: check out that 'window' in the center. There's one Google ad there & 3 more on the rest of the page, which might be a no-no.
