How to increase or maintain Page Rank

Hello,

I have 2 sites with PR4 and one of them dropped to PR2. I really don't know why is that?

I use the same seo strategies by submitting them to social bookmarking sites and article directories.

My question is,

How to increase and maintain Page Rank?

Do link building for your website, there are a lot of stratagies to do, such as blog commenting, forum posting, article submission, directory submission, press releasing, social bookmarking etc, sometime paid methods are used for this purpose.

i think link exchange 2 way and 3 way,forum posting,blog posting,classified submission and press release submission is good way to increase page rank.

Usually the SE machines continuously check for regular updates in your page and new links (how reputable those links are).
If you have done proper SEO and still the page rank is dropped from 4 to 2 then probably you can send a mail to that particular SE.

Just find alot of backlink from authority site.

 

Continue the creation of back links from quality site and take part in social network sites. Make your site more active in online always. It will let you improve your site rank..

 

May be you sold few links on that site and so it dropped.
Try to get backlinks for edu sites. They are best to maintain your PR.

I'm new to some of this but I was reading an article that said some SE's penalize you for the age of your backlinks? Also if the page backlinked drops in rating their dropping can effect you.
