Hehe... traffic is money . To earn it is a hard task. There are multiple ways to get traffic such as Organic traffic , referral traffic and direct traffic. Each traffic source has its own scenario. First thing is you need to understand your scenario. I experienced thousand's of unique visitors on shit content , and struggled my ass -off on very good reader-value content. Second thing is you should be atleast better than your average competitors in one of the scenario. Either you should be an SEO-Geek , or you should be social network player, you make links quickly , buy traffic from other websites and register profit. People sell a 5 yr old website with lot of late sweat put into the website under $10K, and some people just make a facebook page "I like martini" and sell for $18K . My point is each of the scenario is vast . I cant jolt it into a tablet and give it to you. You need to be master of one scenario and jack of others. Many people above comment that , content and social bookmarking is the key. I tell you , I outsource both of these task for few dollars. Getting traffic is beyond that , its needs you mastery in any one scenario. Again an example , one do day and night SEO , and other just post on craiglist " Man in need , selling property for $100k " , " Free coupons to get iphone apps" . And get more affiliates clicked that from SEO. Its about exploring. Just Explore. Be updated. You will enjoy making money and opportunities will wait for you.
