    Best thing you can do to increase page ranking is go for SEO techniques.They are going to produce better results.Keep on updating your content content and add something new to it.Do blog commenting on blogs having higher PR and Forum Postig.Focus on Quality content and Quality backlinks.You will definitely get higher PR.

    Make sure that you provide quality content when building backlinks. Don't upset a webmaster that is allowing you to create free advertising for your own site. Because when you run out of free advertising due to greed, it can get expensive from there.

    page rank....

    What you need is a method to increase your traffic to your site.
    I use social media to generate anywhere from $25 to $300 just
    updating my facebook status and sending out tweets!

    I think the quality content and it's regular update are the most important things to increase page rank. The second option is to create quality back links through adopting following way such as directory submission, forum posting, social bookmarking etc.
