Would someone please explain to me what "American" English is? I recognize that expressions vis a vis American,English or Australian are different. But I believe the language is fundamentally the same.
My first language is French. In France,Canada,Switzerland, the Carribean,Africa etc.,French has different expressions but is spoken the same way.
