your earnings depend not only from the niche, there is also the source of the traffic. If it's organic than you can expect more earnings, if your traffic comes from social bookmarking sites (digg, SU etc...) than the earnings are much lower

 

The term "high traffic" or "decent traffic" is relative, so I won't go by that.

Your ad placement is poor. Try large rectangle block just below the post title, that does wonders if you get targetted ads. Also, use link units.

 

I just get 1$ from 1000 visitors...

 

To make more money from adsense you should use adsense support from google

If I had 5000 daily unique visitors to my money related site I would be making a fair bit. The click through on that site is fairly good

Invest more money and time with traffic,once your traffic reach more than 6000,you may reach 1000$ per month.

 

If I get 100 unique visitors I make about $8. Of course my visitors are very targeted and they load at least 2 pages when they visit my site. So if I did get 1000 visitors a day I would make about $80 dollars a day which would add up to about $2400 dollars a month. Where do your visitors come from? Maybe they aren't targeted enough or maybe your ads are not well placed.

More traffics make you more money .... this is the best way

 

Mine is about 150-200 UV a day and I get an average of 15-20 for this number of visiotrs. How do u generate all those traffic? Wish that I could get as much as you

 

With good ad placement you can earn bigger.. I have one site which has around 100 unqiues, and earns not lower than $3/day.

 

How you guys manage so many uniques a day? I never crossed 800 uniques a day for any of my sites. If you guys have any tips please reply or PM me.

 

Depends on your niche, and more importanty your ad placement. I was reviewing your website and i noticed your ads are not necessarily in the right place. Furthermore, many of them don't fully relate to your website...for example "alien versus predator reviews" was one such ad. cmon now...if your promoting wallpapers, you think someone looking for a free wallpaper would be interested in clicking a movie review ad? Your site is not very well targeted. It seems to bounce between topics. Focus it more in one area, and write original content.

 

your ads are not properly blended... and try 336x280 rectangle ad at the top... Try increasing traffic... (Try adwords)

 

Your offering E-Books, be careful mate, your breaking the rules with those downloads as you do not really own the rights to them!

 

Educational niche i think earns bigger per click, i think. But i based that on a domain i parked on SEDO.
