How to Make A Living By Doing What You Love?

Hi Guys !

IS it possible to make a living by doing what u love ?

I love to be the boss of my own ,
I love designing websites using wordpress/joomla/ and other CMS  .. a

At the moment , i have a few domains which is earning a few dollars a month (which is not enough).
Now, i m thinking of resigning from my full time job and start working on my sites!
Want to be Boss of my own
Also, i have got some money to invest !

Do you think, there is still a big market on online business ...
(when i say online business , my ideas are limited to selling sites with high pr and high traffic / earning money from ad sense and other ad sense like products) / selling your own products like word press themes / giving support for installation troubleshooting etc ,.. etc )

I'm sure, there are many great webmasters/ peoples doing online business and making a living ..
I;ll be very grateful to you guys if you can give me some tips / advice ..

Yes you can. That is how I had gotten started.

When I graduated college in 1997, I started doing a celebrity site. I started out really doing it only for myself. Sure it was on the web, but it was more of a hobby than anything. Back then the web was a bit different, and it started out everything was free. But by late 90's it became more of a 'pay to play' type of model. So I had to start charging and made it into a membership site. That bandwidth bills were $700-900.00 a month.

So while working in telco, I was making extra money on this hobby celebrity membership site. From there, I dabbled in pay sites with other's content. I tried affiliate marketing, link building, TGP's, and many other business models.

After a number of years in telco, I had enough. i was making good money but was not happy. I also realized that the real money in porn was OWNING the content. So I started a production company. I took on a business partner for $3000.00 and gave him 30% of the business. I basically did all the work, and he had a nice half million dollar house and some money to invest.

I shot all my own fetish porn. Opened up clip stores. Launched paysites and made a good living for myself in this online business. I have since moved on to try other things through the years for making money, and dabbling in various businesses. I bought out my business partner a few years back, and my vision was right in regards to producing your own content, and the money to be made.

You would not pay me to go back to corporate America. Freedom is just that good.

 

I've worked for a few clients who I've seen are making a heck of a lot of money with their online businesses. I don't know their incomes but I can see their lifestyles and what they are paying me and other contractors. So I do believe it's possible, absolutely. Just try to think through your action plan, and differentiate yourself in some way.

 

If you love doing something, you'll figure out the best way to earn from it and still make it fun. 99% of the time that people fail in doing what they love is down to their passion becoming a chore and them losing the desire to continue with it. Just make sure whatever you do, it doesn't end up feeling like a chore, or you'll lose your passion, and a great deal of motivation

 

Yes you can... for doing these you should be enough confident and holds ability to do expand your business within your best available resource

 

Go for it, but be wise enough to have a second source of income if your online ideas should not generate the money you are expecting.

 

One thing I teach to alot of people is to be consistent.And don't give up.Believe in what your doing and be very passionate while doing it.Build relationships and always give great customer service.For example if some needs something to be revised do it with no problem and possibly no charge.Trust me they'll keep coming back to you because your trustworthy and easy to deal with.Good luck and I hope I was able to help you out.

 

Think of how you can take advantage of your skills and knowledge and turn it into demands. How it can help people start their website easily..don't forget there are lots of people are newbie and knows nothing about Wordpress or Jomla

 

Off course there are still a HUGE market on online business to make a huge money dude.........

 

Yes you can - you might not earn as much working for the man, but i'd rather be a few pounds short and totally free than being owned...

My tip... if you don't love forex, don't run a site about it. Make sure your site is about what you love, and you'll never do a days WORK ever again. Mind you, if you don't have any interests you could have problems.

One thing - don't let the 'theres already a site about that' vibe take over. Do it better!

It's very possible... you just have to know what you're doing, watch trends, and most of all become adept at marketing.

 

Personally, I'd never leave a job I have - that puts X amount of dollars in my bank every two weeks, to try to become my own boss. If you can work your regular job and try to evolve and develop your career outside of day job. But, with some hard work and a break or two.. it's definently possible. Good luck!
