how to make a sitemap of only a directory ?

    I don't think sitemap generators will create a sitemap to a targeted folder. You will have to create one manually.

    yeah, i agree^^^

    or you can just edit the file created by the sitemap generator and configure the things you want to do :)

    I'm not familiar with that sitemap tool, I use the one at http://www.xml-sitemaps.com but I would guess all you would need to do is enter your start url as the directory you want to create the map for ie. http://www.mydomain.com/directory and then it should only crawl urls within that directory assuming you don't have any sub-directories within that folder.

    a directory is pretty much just a sitemap with descriptions, none needed really - my directory is fairly new and has been getting crawled like crazy lately

    I am guessing that like 99% of all sitemap generators
    have exclusion filters and "root directory" options...
    So shouldn't be a problem :)
