The internet is a great place to sell your products. But just because it's a great place to market your products doesn't mean in any way it'll be easy.

Learning the basics is more or less deciding if you'll be successful or not:

If you don't learn the basics(/base) you'll get nowhere

If you do learn the basics you have the opportunity to make millions at the comfort of your own desk!

So what is a base?

The base, is the foundation, if you haver no foundation, your efforts will crumble and will be worthless.

@Lloyd - That's a great list, I totally understand where your coming from and yes they are both very similar.

 

The most common way to marketing is affiliate method which is reccommended to noobs and below pro guys. One needs many skills to market and these skills can be acquired without any experience. Also SEO is a skill which is very important whether it is SEO, video marketing, article marketing etc as in all of these one needs to rank those things high with SEO.

 

Online marketing is essential to the success of your business. It includes things like email marketing, affiliate marketing and search engine marketing (or optimisation) You need to make sure you have a marketing strategy in place and determine which methods to use (this will depend on time and budget)

 

As from my side first someone can start online marketing with an affiliate, then if he or she can sell his/her own product. On that way anyone can gather some knowledge about IM before create a product.

Forum is the best place to promote products as I think.

 

Pretty much old info but people will need to be reminded once in a while. Agree with you Imdadc affiliate marketing is the best way to start off but it can be really hard to do it if you are a total newbie.

 

I agree and keep it dead simple. Buy low and sell high, find people who want what you offer and sell it to them. Keep away from affiliate programs it's some peoples forte but the super competitiveness of it causes most people to fail from ever making real money, you're better creating your own product and sevices.

Be a business owner, not just some internet salesmen.
