How to make more money off my blog?

I own a blog that is hosted on Tumblr. It has 130k+ followers and gets between 3k-6k unique visitors a day.

What could I use to make more money off of my blog? Besides Adsense. I am currently showing Chitika advertisements (2 of them) and I am not making much money at all.

Would selling links, banner space, and so on; be my best bet?

Is there any other kind of advertising companies I could use? My blog is in the Entertainment/Nightlife niche.

Perhaps you could find a couple of ebook on clickbank about how to pick up girls with ease in nightclubs.

 

Be wary though that putting too much ads on your site's pages could result in an unpleasant response from searchers/readers.

If your blog has a good reputation and have a healthy PR then there is a option that you can run paid campaign.

 

sounds good.. You need to narrow down who would be interested in advertising on a site like yours and reach out some potential advertisers. Their already paying money to advertise on via other methods. Why not advertise on yours.

This could provide you great residual income.

Another thing you could sell is ringtones.

I would also consider clickbank... Market products that pertain to your fanbase.

I'd suggest mixing it up between CPC and CPM ads as well as looking into some affiliate networks (but don't over do it w/ads). Good networks like A4D & EWA will work with you and suggest offers that should do well for your niche (maybe dating?). Good luck though.

I have a few suggestions on your issue:

1) If your blog generates much traffic this means you have lots of visitors. In this case you could use Google AdSense which would place some ads on your site and if your visitors will be interested in them - you gonna start generating some profit.
2) Joining affiliate programs - you can also try visiting some networks that offers becoming an affiliate of a certain company. This will also require you to place the banners of the company and if your visitors buy something from the company you advertise - money starts gathering to your pocket.
