    1. Does you site look professionally built?
    2. Bring the prices down initially even if it makes no profit for you.
    3. If you make any new sales, ask the customers to review the shopping experience and add it to the testimonials column. This great improves the confidence of new buyers.
    4. Many are not aware of SSL. So, I do not think that it 'll help. But certainly an addon bonus :)

Take up a Good payment processor which a Buyer feels his details are safe , lower down the prices for some time so that you start getting some sales , make your buyers write reviews about your services to get some feedback... buy POST on REVIEW blogs which have huge traffic and bulid up some reputation , hope it helps

You should start telling your colleague and friends to help you with the website.. can't go wrong with word-to-word marketing strategy! Trust is something that doesn't often happen over a night.. so be patient and be confident about your product & service.

Patience is the key.. nothing is an instant success! Keep working away at it and it will take off at some point. If you have a good product it will work

Let people that have high ratings review your site and make sure you have enough content and that it looks very reliable. The looks will do it, so try to make it as professional as possible!

I am thinking that your problem might be on the sales part... you need to make people trust that your site can handle secure transactions like if they submit their credit card details and all that... there are a lot of authentication services that you can avail of.

If the trust you're talking about here is the delivery, you're not alone. You just have to put up some testimonials from previous customers, or ethics be damned, make one up.

It will take time, but you will get there.

Create a video on your site that shows how everything works. That will make everyone feel more comfortable that your site is legitimate.

Why does everyone recommend to get SSL certificate? It's a waste of money, believe me.) Imagine that you are going to pay $500 per year. Well I'm pretty sure that it won't convince your visitors to trust you. Your website is new and you need customers' feedback so others will see that they are not first.
