I don't think there's a tutorial for that on any site I know.

To make it simpler than it actually is, it's 3d text (which can either be made from PS or another program) with hoolanders and such types of vector art work plastered onto the text. It takes a good eye to know where to place these and how to alter them but actually altering them is not a huge problem.

There are definitely tutorials to help you make something like the "type" text and there are loads of brushes to use (both free and ridiculously pricey) to make it look pretty. Sorry I'm pretty useless with the details :p G'luck.

I remember seeing this before - I think the text is made first in 3D Max and then imported into Photoshop. Unfortunately I know nothing about 3D modeling, so I can't create a tutorial on this. I might find a 3D program when I have time and see if I can use that with Photoshop - if I get around to doing that I'll create a tut.

    a good and free 3d program is blender3d: blender3d.org

I'd say yes, this is a highly complex piece of work, and unless you know how to do it already, you won't be able to do it with a tutorial (if one was even written for it).

My best bet is to roll up your sleeves and learn as much as you can. with time you'll learn how do do stuff like this and anything you can imagine!

That was designed by Nik Ainley ( Shinybinary.com )
He mainly admits to using: Photoshop, Illustrator, 3D Studio max, Cinema 4D, Bryce, Poser and Xara 3D.

Look for other tutorials for the swashes, swirls, foliage, watercolor background, etc. But for the 3D type and photoshop, find a tutorial here.

Note that he is known for this style and has done a lot to make his work stand out from others so your not going to find all of his secrets, this is where your own design ability should come in to make the piece your own. Good luck, it's a nice style to work towards :)

It's made in illustrator imo . That's a custom made font, all vectors .
That's something really hard to do ...
