I recently made a blog related to alcoholic drinks, but adsense can't be used on such a website.

So can you suggest me a good way to monetize a blog related to alcoholic drinks?

Can you tell me some good CPM ad networks?

adbrite allow these kind of sites. have you tried them?

 

TRy those affiliate programs instead. They are paying beter since that is a good niche. I am sure that there is a lot of alcoholic beverage afiliate program around the internet.

 

If the blog is popular maybe you can get one of the alcohol companies to advertise on your site. It's a long shot but can't hurt to try

 

Depends on the traffic. High traffic/high ROI would be best for CPM style campaigns with high value networks.

Adsense doesn't ban sites about alcoholic drinks, it bans sites that sell alcoholic drinks. (ref: https:// www. google .com /adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=48182 then expand content guidelines)

Here's the list, note how they distinguish between topics they obviously want nothing at all to do with and the ones where they just don't want to be associated with sales. You can see this clearly in the adjacent lines illicit drugs & sales of alcohol

• Violent content
• Content related to racial intolerance or advocacy against any individual, group or organisation
• Excessive profanity
• Hacking/cracking content
• Gambling or casino-related content
• Illicit drugs and drug paraphernalia content
• Sales of beer or hard alcohol
• Sales of tobacco or tobacco-related products
• Sales of prescription drugs
• Sales of weapons or ammunition (e.g. firearms, firearm components, fighting knives, stun guns)
• Sales of products that are replicas or imitations of designer goods
• Sales or distribution of coursework or student essays
• Content regarding programmes which compensate users for clicking ads or offers, performing searches, surfing websites or reading emails
• Any other content that is illegal, promotes illegal activity or infringes on the legal rights of others

 

Maybe you can try some CPA campaigns a site called the ewanetwork has some great one's there you should be able to monopolize on.
