    Hi, me and my collegue run a free dating site

    we need someone to help us with adsense colour optimisation. it seems like no matter what colour we choose it gets only worse or has no effect on the revenue in the best case. Please have a look at our site and let me know of your thoughts.

    another thing that concerns me is low value clicks. most of them are in the range of 5c to10c per click. is it general trend in dating industry or just lack of web content causing Google to display cheep ads?


    we started our dating site around 3 months ago and still very green. so any help would be really appreciated.

    Hi pixeltrader. I think dating sites have low CTR just like forums, as people are more interesting in 'other things' rather than reading content and clicking on related links. What I can suggest is that you should try and maximize the number of Google Ads you are using on your page, also use a Google Link Unit and a search box if possible to improve your earnings.

    I do think that dating sites have a low CPC as well. Go check out plentyoffish.wordpress.com for a blog by a person who earns $10,000 a day via adsense on their dating site.. Though I'm sure you're already a subscriber
