How to secure passwords in social networking site.

In many social networking sites users are creating their accounts. Even if they don't have any

knowledge regarding passwords and all still then they are using it without any knowledge. Passwords

must be secure so that nobody can take it easily. If anyone having any idea regarding this then please

reply here so that other can aware of these things.

If I could understand your question correctly you want to force users to choose secure passwords. If that is the case then why not auto generate the password and then mail it to the user after sign up is completed?

 

Just make sure that pw is not popular, try to make it having capital letter, small letters and a number a combination of that is safe.

 

Thank you so much for your replying. I have studied from news paper that some particular websites are available which will create passwords and simultaneously storing that password so that people will not forget that website generated password and hackers can not access that password easily.

In this way, it would be hard for hackers to find out your password.

 

Actually there should not be any suggestion for it. It's just something which is really personal matter to a general user. But for security purpose, if he or she needs extra security he or she could try the password as long as possible with the mixture of numbers, letter and punctuation marks.
