    Which social media platform do you use to promote your product, Youtube, Facebook or Instagram?
    I want to try social media marketing but I am not sure which one is my best choice. I am going to sell stationery products.

    We sell mostly to local customers using Facebook. Craigslist is dead and Facebook is taking over.

    The facebook marketplace has a very good reach locally and growing. Also can do very targeted ads if you like. I'm not a big fan of groups unless you can somehow get a ton of followers who are very passionate about the same thing together.

    As a Marketing specialist, I mainly use Instagram & Facebook for sponsored Ads. It also depends on the category of your product or services. For a home category, the images are extremely important so I find platform like Instagram very effective!

    Focusing on social media to drive sales is not a great idea.
    First, because you don't own the data.
    Second, as social media traffic is poor traffic (cheap, and usually just curious).

    You'll be better to switch your focus on building an email list, or some sort of database you own.

    You can create your page whatever your product it is start your campaign and get traffic. Once you get traffic you have to manage your service.

    My favourite platform for social media marketing is definitely Instagram. I have always favoured it over Facebook as i have had consistently good results.

    If you do your research, present your product well, have competitive and attractive pricing - you can make get many sales through instagram. A lot of my instagram sales come from engaging with other people in certain hashtags. Instagram marketing is also very easy for beginners to get in to. There is plenty of free information available online to help :)

    My advice would be to take a look at your web store first. It should be well responsive, easy to use, etc. If you have shitty e-commerce site, you can invest to digital marketing thousands EUR, although it won't convert

    I'd choose FB ads. You can run FB engagement ad. Get people engaged with it and you'll get social proof in return. Once you get that you can run a conversion ad. People are more willing to buy when there's social proof. The thing with running ads is you have to have a big budget to test and find out which works and which don't work. It takes time but if you're consistent you'll get the result.
