Get an SEO plugin and then you can tell the bots not to follow the articles with a noindex. All in one seo has an option for noindex for categories.

here is a plugin to do it by post http://yoast.com/wordpress-noindex-specific-posts-and-pages/

I'm sure there are more, I'm not sure how up to date this is.

    your welcome.

The robots meta really works, but I am using the all in one seo, but I don't think it works for this.
    Thanks very much :)

All in one has an option to not have categories or archives indexed... not the post itself.
