    Why using Twitterfeed?

Twitterfeed lets you manage your Facebook and Twitter accounts. It simply connects them with the selected websites or blogs via RSS. when any website makes a new post, twitterfeed immediately publish a link to this post in your Facebook and Twitter account. In this way, you keep your accounts continuously updated with great contents!

Now, type www.twitterfeed.com into your internet browser, to make a new account in this wonderful website. Only 2 steps to do that! simple, isn't it?

    Two Steps Registration

    (1) At the upper part of the screen click on 'sign up' or, alternatively, at the lower left part click on 'Register Now' as shown in the upper image. You will be taken to the sign up form which is very short and easy.

    (2) Type your email address and password then re-type it. It's better to use a strong password including capital and small letters, numbers and special characters. This makes your account more protected.

If you would like to receive important newsletter that could affect your twitterfeed account, check the option 'please include me on important updates'. Now click 'Create Account' to begin using Twitterfeed. You don't even need to confirm your email address!

    Which website is better?

Yes, I know that searching about the best websites on the internet today is a bit confusing. When you type a certain phrase in Google and press enter you get endless results. But remember that we are searching for websites that will provide us with a continuous stream of updated posts via RSS, so any website you choose should have at least 3 properties:

    (a) Post once or more daily.

    (b) Good and enjoyable content.

    (c) its contents must be interesting to your Facebook fans and Twitter followers.

Now, after you know that, you are never confused! Google any phrase you like then choose 5 or 6 results from the first page. If they have the 3 properties I told you about above, proceed to the next step and let's learn how to get RSS URL to use it in our accounts.

How to search for RSS in any website?

Now, we know how to find a good website that we can use to feed our Facebook and Twitter accounts, but how can we find the RSS service inside it?

Simply, in the Home Page of the selected website press (Ctrl + F). You will see a new search bar or window according to the browser you are using. Type 'RSS' in the search bar and the browser will highlight this word in the website immediately as shown in the image above. In that image we searched for RSS service in About.com and we found it at the bottom right corner of the page If you can't find any results, try typing 'Subscribe' or 'Feed' instead. If you still have no results, open some internal pages inside the website as the RSS service may be hidden inside them. If all the above failed, we have no choice :) let's search for another website!

Once you find the RSS service, give it a click to move on to the next step.

    Several ways to do it!

Many services are there on the world wide web that helps you in reading RSS feeds. Google, Yahoo and AOL are among the most popular readers today. In this tutorial I'm going to show you how to use Google Reader to feed your Facebook page and Twitter account via RSS. Google Reader is very easy to use, effective and well organized. For these reasons I recommend it to you.

Once you click on 'RSS', the website will suggest many readers to use as shown in the image below. Click 'Add to Google' to start using Google Reader.

    One more step

Now, Google gives you two options:

    (1) Add to Google homepage: which is certainly NOT suitable in that case. We want a reader that can read, organize and feed our accounts.

    (2) Add to Google Reader: please click on it ;)

Once you do that you will be taken to Google Reader. In the next article I'll show you how to use it. Thanks for reading!
