    I need some tips on how to use or apply social networking sites in promoting my web site. My website is a distributor of NAS devices. So, anyone out there who can help me? Thanx! You can check out the site, just search Maxtec Solutions. :)

    You can create FB fan page for free with a vanity short URL, start promoting it first on your site and to existing customers, get involved in more communication there and people will start noticing and gathering. Then, when you have fans you can post short blurbs for news on the page wall and they will appear in fans' news streams, too.
    Similar for twitter: start following people of interest, get involved in the conversations/mentions/retweet.
    The more you pay attention on the communication there the better with time.
    Yes, time consuming but worthy!

    Setup your twitter account merge your twitter account with bit.ly and make settings to automaticly shorten your blog posts from bit.ly and allow bit.ly to post your new articles after shortening to twitter, it will do your job done...
