How to watch TV Series Online?

So I am a huge prison break fan and I missed an episode. I simply logged on went to google and typed in, "Watch Prison Break online". I found a website and watched the entire episode.

My question.... How do people set up sites like this? Where do they get the episodes. Is this legal?

I believe the one I watched I had to install zango. After I watched it.. I simply deleted it.

There are hundreds of such sites floating around the net.

Almost all of them are illegal ( unless they took permission from the producers of the show, which is very unlikely)

 

I think Hulu.co does it legally, they have short commercial within each episode/movie. Its a cool and growing site.

People find these episodes uploaded. They embed these episodes onto usually a customized wordpress blog. It's pretty illegal but most of these sites are on offshore servers. Usually its an option to install zango or not. At least my sites are like that. Just hope you don't run into those sites that force you to fill out a survey -_- those are so annoying.

 

Don't think it's illegal unless you're hosting the videos on your server.

 

Depends the country, diffusing illegal content is often illegal.
Anyways, there are legal streaming websites (google for legal streaming )

 

All the free legal streaming are for people within the country of the united states =/ At least that's what I've come across so far.
