How worth is it marketing on social networking sites

Everyone has heard of myspace. There are many more like orkut, facebook, facebox, around 6-7 more which are all under 200(alexa ranking)
Wondering how worth is it go around spamming on all those site's about your site. Worth wasting time on this ?

Well sposedly myspace is going to start to sue spammers, dont know if that will really go forward though.

You're asking if spamming is worth ...
Ask those making billions if it's worth, then ask those that need private email or clean websites if they like it. Balance these two and see how worthy it is !

Just as an example ... global warming is done by people, just like spam.

 

You can create MASSIVE traffic using SN's. Just be careful how you go about it and try to be very specific who you target.

You can request friends for example on Myspace and narrow your search to just about any criteria you can imagine.

Most bots that did the work for you are now off the market but if you want to put the time in yourself or outsource, the traffic from these sites is completely free!

I would not recommend spamming though, build a list of prospects (friends) who would be interested in your site or product and build a relationship with them.

 

i tried myspace with success for my proxy sites advertised it on school groups gt about 555uniques

 

Going and spamming might get your account deleted or even banned from the site, and if you're doing serious spamming you might even be sued. There are tricks around it though. Make it look like you're part of the community and not just spamming. If you get your friends to trust you and you communicate with them you can reach alot of people for free.

 

If those sites accumulate most traffic, why not?

Clueless noobs who don't know up from down say different, which is one of the reasons why they have a dead site.

Why don't you experiment with it, and find out on your own?
