    Well you can place Adsense as well, or you can charge for advance services, basic services are free but advance services are not free, by giving more space and giving special control panel etc.

    I believe that if you go to free hosting sites it will increase traffic on your site. Thus, increasing page rank. I think that is how you make money. I might be wrong.

    you can also join some free hosting site which has affiliate program that pays 3-10$ for every new client you get them. One idea how to get clients is to offer free website creation with 1 condition - the person you create the website for has to use your host (of course, you give that person your affiliate link :D). And website creation is quite easy with wordpress or joomla (I use wordpress and although I am complete design idiot, I create decent websites using templates and stuff)

    this method works even better for paid hostings - you can get 40-60$ for each person you get - get 20 new clients each month and you earn or are close to 4 figures already.

    you cant earn alot through free sites.. affliate programs gives you a certain limited duration on how much you can earn through free sites.. i have experienced this kind.

    I'm too courious on how to make money with free hosting...ads maybe but getting them is hard, adsense...well maybe, are there any good technique to earn money from free hosting?

    Free hosting .... really hard to mate , but u can try to make a education blog using WordpRess (also free) ,and start putting adbrit ads to earn money

    yeah from revenue of ads..if you have good traffic so you can get sponsor easier to rent your site space
