How's my placement? Revenue's died in the last month

    I've not tweaked the placement or changed the colours recently, but last month was half of the month before, even with 10% or more increase in traffic. Both CTR and CPM are down.

    Note that on individual pages, if the user comes from search, I use a 336x280 at the head of the articles.

    Is there a better way to do the ads?

    BTW: I got Googleslapped for TLAs. A friend in the same niche got the same slap and the same decrease in revenue. Is this just coincidental?
