How's the Ad Placement On My Anime Site?

The site I run is a fansite for the anime series One Piece.
    www.onepiecepirates.com

Now I the site is fairly new but I am getting about 2,000 pageviews a day, but I am getting at most 2 clicks a day, very low cpc as well. So I am curious about a few things.

    1. Would changing my ad placement be benifical to getting more clicks?
    2. I currently have image ads only would switching to text/image help?
    3. Also at the moment I do not have ads on the forums, would placing them there be a good idea and if so, where in the forums would be the best place to put them.

On the site there are two types of pages that represent the whole site.
    1. www.onepiecepirates.com
    2. www.onepiecepirates.com/manga/001/

Any feedback that can be provided would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

You should place your ads at the top and bottom of your site. The top of the site is the best place to get a lot of CTR.

Also, I think text link ads tend to get better CTR than image ads.

Placing your ads on the forums is a great idea if it relates to your niche.

If you find this information useful, ad to my rep. :)

sidebar ad units don't perform well, consider moving it towards left side.. or remove it altogether
