I am looking into monetizing a hydroponics site I am working on, and possibly to add some products, I have had trouble finding companies in this category who will dropship, does anyone know of any? I would even be open to affiliate programs.

I think you are searching on the wrong site here. How many people here know about hydroponics? I bet most here don't plant all that much...
Why don't you simply ask the same question at a hydroponic forum? This is the place were your find the companies. Good luck with your business!

I actually hadnt thought of that as I feel like I would be talking to the consumers, not suppliers on those forums. I was hoping to find someone who has made a similar site that could offer pointers but thanks for the suggestion, I will check out some hydroponics forums!

No if you are in good forum there are a lot of professionals. Usually they stay away from facebook because they don't want to talk with people propagating their first African violet. (How many people do something with plants here??)

I have several backyard aquaponics projects going so have a bit of knowledge from a consumer standpoint. This is one industry where I see very little drop shipping as it currently stands. Most of the large retailers have their own stock. I would start by looking up hydroponic or aquaponic wholesalers and see if you can find anyone with a drop shipping program. Based on the huge overlap in products than many retailers have, I would bet there are a few large wholesalers in the US, but I really don't think there's going to be any very obvious turn key type drop shippers in the current space.

Thank for the feedback! I practice this type of gardening as well! aquaponics is a realm I havent experimented with yet, but am aching to try it (with my wifes approval, because she hates nature lol)...

I guess I am going to have to go about this the hard way, as I do not want to have to hold physical inventory.

Thanks much! PS the site I made, which this post was inspired by is here: http://hydroponicus.com/
