    Not that I'm an expert but here's my opinion:

    After scrolling down from the massive header and top menus I'm confronted with 2 massive blocks of Adsense with blue writing on a blue background. After straining my eyes, I would have to see an add that I really like to want to click.

    Personally, I would replace that huge double-block with the link-style Adsense. It tends to look like an ordinary horizontal menu, so it should be more effective. Then every 3 or so comments, I would add a horizontal block in between. It would all blend in much nicer.

    Otherwise, the site looks appealing.
