    Hi DP members, I am planning to come up with a exhaustive portal for a new product. So, was wondering, if i should use a content management system for this, or go for outright programmers to draft the code?

    It depends on requirements. I think you should outline your main requirements before anyone can advise you on this.

    I am planning to have some kind of Social Networking on my site with a plethora of features embedded on to it.

    So, was wondering, that i don't get stuck up after a while when i require a particular functionality and at the end of the day realize that the application/widget cant be embedded using Joomla. This is my concern...
