I understand that this is IM forum, you're a woman and all of that. But we're talking about HUMAN problems here, everybody needs to relax sometimes and avoid stresses and problems which we face everyday. My word "banged" was maybe to hard for ladies here but i wanted to be funny and look positive at this situation. You should relax too, keep it up sarah!

I too have a problem that when going bed in the night it takes me a while before i fall sleep. I am going to follow these tips which i acknowledged myself and read on the articles:

    * The mind has to be clear, no stress, depression etc..
    * The environment should be calm
    * I will not sleep in the day time, if i sleep in the day, it takes longer in the night to fall sleep
    * Workout / exercise so that the body is tired and the brain will push signals for rest
    * Do not have coffee or alcohol before sleep because it keeps our body active
    * And two days ago i ordered some lavender oil and a Ultrasonic Aromatherapy Diffuser :)

Because i read that inhaling lavender oil helps reduce stress and fall sleep.

    Hope those helps someone!

YouTube videos with music for sleep. They are usually made by Hypnotists. As others have said, incense like lavender or sage.

Here’s a soothing blend you can try:

Essential Oil Blend for Better Sleep
    Ingredients:

    • Lavender: 4 drops
    • Chamomile: 3 drops
    • Cedarwood: 2 drops
    • Bergamot: 2 drops
    • Carrier Oil (e.g., jojoba, coconut, or almond oil): 1 tablespoon
    Instructions:

    1. Combine Essential Oils: In a small glass bottle or a bowl, mix the essential oils together.
    2. Add Carrier Oil: Add the carrier oil to the essential oil blend to dilute it. This helps to prevent skin irritation and ensures safe application.
    3. Blend Well: If using a bottle, cap it and shake gently to combine. If using a bowl, stir the mixture thoroughly.
    4. Application: Apply a few drops of the blend to pulse points such as wrists, temples, or the back of your neck. Alternatively, you can use it as part of a relaxing bedtime routine by adding a few drops to your pillow or diffuser.
    Benefits of Each Oil:
    • Lavender: Promotes relaxation and improves sleep quality. It’s well-known for its calming effects.
    • Chamomile: Offers a calming influence and can help ease anxiety and stress, contributing to better sleep.
    • Cedarwood: Has grounding properties and can help reduce anxiety and promote relaxation.
    • Bergamot: Known for its uplifting properties, it can help reduce stress and improve mood.
    Additional Tips:
    • Diffuser: Add a few drops of this blend to a diffuser and let it run in your bedroom about 30 minutes before bedtime.
    • Bath: For a calming bath, add 5-10 drops of the blend to a warm bath (mixed with a neutral carrier like milk or Epsom salts).
This blend combines oils known for their relaxing and sleep-promoting properties. Adjust the proportions to suit your personal preferences or try different essential oils based on what works best for you.
