I cut myself with a crack pipe, it was not mine, it was in the car of somebody. I drop something, I put my hand to get it, and I cut myseld, It turn out to be a crack pipe
Can I catch something bad from that cut?

 

Maybe some kind of infection but nothing serius like hepatit or hiv. The cells from them die outside the body pretty quick. But if the cut was not clean i mean the pipe then off coure like anyother wound you can get a infection. Go to the hospital and let them clean it for you.

 

But I didn't bleed from the cut, its very small. Just the skin open.

Its always best to get checked out... and from the way it sounds, you need to get better friends to get rides from.

 

Just have the cut checked by a doctor. Otherwise, just clean it. Then observe what happens to it. If it's a small cut, there's nothing really serious to worry about.

 

I don't see how you cut yourself from a pipe... unless it was shattered in the car? And no you are not going to get anything from it. Cheers

 

lol, imagine that, you wait 6 hours and show the doctor your finger lol, now that is comedy, no bleeding just a lil skin came off. The doctor will be like, aww poor baby, do you need a bandade? or mabe i will kiss it for you and make you feel better? haha. that would be funny. I suggest you stay away with people who own crack pipes, and no you cant catch nothing from it, i dont know how you cut yourself with it in the first place, can you show us a picture of what it looks like, hint google images . lol, I know, I was thinking maybe I could of caught some kind of STD, HIV, etc. But those die in open air in minutes. Also the wound is gone, it was a skin cut.

 

No need to worry then . It is only in case of a cut and the if object which has cut it is not clean that one has to go for a tetnus injection. Otherwise no serious affair . Sit and relax ......

I am going to go back here for a second and pick at those people who say you can't catch anything from a crack pipe cut. You can catch anything from any cut. Do you realize how flesh eating bacteria is spread? It's spread from cuts as simple as a paper cut. So, don't treat a tiny cut (Esp. one from a crack pipe in which crackheads are not known to be completely clean anyways) as a joke.

Search for google with the term "flesh eating disease paper cut" (Without quotes) and go the first site.

 

Hehehe. Yeah right, like that's the first thing you'd get from a crack pipe! LMAO!!! The chances of catching Fasciitis are so small, I definately wouldn't worry about that. I thing the first poster meant things like STD's and Hep, and you definately won't get those from a crack pipe, either. But, as said before, it's never a bad thing to have yourself checked every so often...

 

Nonetheless that chance is there. That's not the only thing out there either, and yes you can probably contract HIV providing the crack user had it, had an open cut, left some fluid from the cut on the pipe and you yourself touched that part during, while or after you cut yourself.
