Ok so i have a few sites where I wanna display 2-3 G ads on each page. Some pages seem to work fine they all show up where on other sites only one of them show up, and the other one is just blank, and u see the white space.

Does anyone know why this is happening???

Most likely not enough advertisers...sometimes if you just leave it alone and not check it every second, the second set of ads will populate

Just out of curiosity: do the pages where the ads don't show, have less content than the others?

It could be that your site is too new and not fully indexed. Also other possible reasons include lack of content, most importantly lack of related content.

I've had the same thing happen with pages with not enough content. Jen, are you in da house?

On my site freiburg-home.com/germany I have included a script that I can insert as the alternate ad link. Then, when there is no ad for google to put into that space, the script simply shrinks the ad space to disappear and hence no whitespace in the content.

Make a script called shrink.html and put in it the following content, saving it in your root or base-domain directory:

and only that, then in your adsense code put the following line in:

Oh, forgot to say, google allow this, in fact they even suggest it on their blog!

    Works really well for me

Yeah, the most likely solution - not enough advertizers.

    ahh ok i see

ya makes sense i can try putting more content and see what happens.

But in that case wouldn't public ads show up instead?
