I don't like 9 to 5 job.

I do not want to do 9 to 5 job. I want to go for online business. Can you suggest few online or offline business ideas you have? Thanks.

 

Any online business will require money and the time to nurture it. You will need a business plan, domain name, hosting and optimized and quality content to rank well and hope to draw in traffic.

The easiest online "business" to have in terms of financial investment is a blog, but if you run a blog and want to make money from Adsense or affiliate advertising, you will need targeted traffic with an interest in those links. That means months of hard work producing high quality niche-related content that will draw in the right type of traffic. Even then, you probably won't be making more than a couple hundred dollars a month.

 

what type of skills do you have? The reality is its going to take time.. Read as much as you can here and come up with a plan.

 

First, you need to recognize that being self-employed typically means much longer hours than simply 9 to 5. I know and work with many self-employed people who, while they enjoy owning their own businesses, often comment that they wish that they had a 9 to 5 job to have more time for themselves, family, etc. So, to a certain degree, the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence.

That said, if you are driven to work for yourself, you should do so. One way to figure out what to do is to look at what you are being paid to do in your 9 to 5 job and what experiences, knowledge, skills, etc., that job has given you. Use that insight to figure out what product or service would make the most sense for you to sell. It does not need to be selling exactly what you are doing now, but perhaps your experience in the industry will give ways to ideas as to how to improve something or perhaps fill an unmet need, etc. Many times, I talk to entrepreneurs who were working at a company and saw a need (not necessarily in direct competition with their employer) and they found a way to meet that need. Sometimes, their first customer would be their former employer.

The final comment that I have is DO NOT quit your 9 to 5 jump to jump into self-employment. Work part-time, after hours on your concept and make sure that it proves to you conclusively that the new business will be able to fully support you if and when you leave your 9 to 5 job. Bills keep coming in and money keeps going out in our lives whether or not a regular paycheck is coming in so do yourself a favor and make sure that the economics will work before you make any big changes.

 

No one does. There are just too many people with 9-5 jobs. To get into online business / internet marketing, you must have knowledge and experience. I was once just like you. But after a couple of years of experience, I can say that I make quite a comfortable income online.

 

9-5 job is the traditional way of earning a living but this days, internet revolution has brought about another way of earning income some call it telecomuting jobs others say online jobs.

You may dislike 9 - 5 jobs compared to online jobs in the end you will still be spending that same time and resources to online jobs just as 9-5jobs

 

I make my living online. This is more like a 24/7 job...

From what I've seen online business requires time and hard work but you also have the flexibility to travel and pick your hours. I would look into either selling or providing SEO. Making mobile apps. Making web-designs and logos. I think the big money makers are in SEO and apps. Pick a topic and learn as much as you can about it and try it out. The best way to see if something works is to try it and learn as you go. That's what I think makes enrepreneurship so exciting. It's an adventure and you learn as you go. Look at the Mark Zuckerburg. He just went with his ideas, made mistakes, but has made a legendary difference in the world. Good luck.

The secret is being a business owner and having others do the work for you while you turn a profit, or setting up something that makes residual income so that you may earn money from work that was completed years ago.

 

I am earning online through online selling, blogging and article writing. So far, I am earning more that I would if I am employed. I am a marketing specialist and a business minded person, that's why it's easy for me to make sales online. I write well and know what keywords to use. That is the reason why I get traffic to my site. That is also the reason why I get clients for writing articles and they keep on coming back. You can also do these things if you have the skills. Online jobs would still require passion and dedication.

 

Do you think when you'll start work online you'll spend less time for it? You are wrong. It takes all you free time So just dont be lazy and better if you do smth you really like to do.

 

CPA affiliate marketing if you crack the code for that you will have money for the rest of your life.

#2 info products, you can make and sell them (I do that for 10 years now pays good, but it's tons of work way more then affiliate and you have to do support for customers)

#3 kindle (and others like nook). I just started that, but I hope this is #1 it's no customer support and they do most of the selling for you. I see huge future

Anyway those are my 3 recomendations. Pick one and focus or pick some other if you don't like these 3 then focus and get good at it. Good luck!

 

Internet marketing is a HUGE business you could get in to. I also can sympathize with your not liking working haha(which is why I starting IMing)

Um, some suggestions I could give would be

PPC - Sites like Bing Ads or Adwords are good for just starting out. You can easily get ad vouchers to test around campaigns on ppc sites. They can produce highly good conversion rates and traffic if you do it right. Some people just have a natural talent for it and some don't.

JV - Joint Venture/Affiliate marketing is pretty fun too. You can use PPC to advertise or even word of mouth. Some people are just natural born advertisers so this would probably be a good route. Basically you're just advertising people's products for them and you get a comission of the earning they get. CPA/PDA - This IM technique involves getting people to do surveys to unlock certain files or sites. It's a good IM route to take, but it takes some time to start up. Sites, youtube channels, etc. It also requires you to be creative when coming up with ideas on what niche to target. I'd say take this route if you're creative and good in finding niches people want so bad they will do anything to get(such as do a simple survey).

Before thinking of quitting your 9-5 job and get an online business, you need to have an experience on how it works.
Having a 9-5 job is easier than having an online business, but if you have a passion on something that you think you will excel in and you can commit yourself to it then do it, but don't quit your 9-5 job. It will serve as a back-up just in case your online business didn't work out. Because in the business world, whether you are operating online or offline, it is important to have plans and alternative plans. So if you want to have a business online then you think much wiser.
