I got several myspace members banned from myspace

There were several myspace members sending me invites for friendship and their homepage was an affiliate homepage promoting penis enlargement pills. I got those members banned by reporting them. Did I do the right thing? Or am I mean?

You're looking at it from the wrong perspective. It's not you who got them banned. It's them with their inappropriate content and/or spamming.

Don't feel bad. They would have been banned anyway.

You should be proud to take a proactive approach to making the social networking scene a little better and safer for all.

yeah...good to know. Thanks. I feel worried at times for no reason. It was an illegitimate marketing technique as you point out

Yeah, you're definitely not wrong for reporting them. Someone would have eventually if that's how they run their business.

I'm sure that they got banned because many more people other than you reported them as the spammers they were. You did the right thing. I wouldn't lose sleep over this.
