Ok people I have $547aud to invest into something, this money was inherited from a old lady who was friends with my dad, she didn't have much in life and I knew every cent ment a lot to her, so this inheritance to me was kinda special and I don want to waste it on something material that will die out.

Thing is I have had the money for 2 years and have made only $47 on it via a bank, kinda poor gain imo.

I don't want to do any thing stupid with this money or any thing risky, I don't want to waste the money on buying a new xbox 360 or something stupid like that as I think its my honour to invest this money wisely and make it into something larger ie 10k?

I was talking to my parents about buying a pre made myspace resource site as I thought this might be a good way to invest my money but as my parents of baby boomer style age been very negative towards the internet they told me NO!

What do you guys suggest I do with this money? A safe investment?? Maby even give me something to argue to my parents why buying a pre made side is a good idea.

Marketing is not a problem for me as I am currentl a marketing student. I know the in/outs of the marketing game and can move traffic very fast through my affiliates.

    Any help is great thanks.

Adsense and affiliate programs are not a get rich quick scheme - and there is certainly a degree in risk. If you really want to make that kind of return, I would suggest spending a lot of time reading this forum and also learning basic html.

You don't need $500, you just need to be prepared to spend a lot of time. I would suggest you stay away from turnkey sites - at least for your first site. Build a site on something you have a lot of interest in - and be prepared to spend a year learning all you'll need to know to make $10k.

This probably isn't the answer you want, but spending $500 on a site and hoping to make an easy $10k isn't likely to happen. Even an established site selling for $500 is likely to be generating $50 a month at best.
