I have made a few ad adjustements - review

The adlink on the top was black with white text. I liked the way it seperate the header from the rest of the page, but made this change to see if it increases CTR.

Is the black better or the red? Any other suggestions for improvement?

 

Personally, I like the red because it blends in. But for CTR, the black is probably better because it stands out more. Not a lot, but more. Then again, sometimes it's not good to stand out because of "obvious advertising".

For what it's worth, I really prefer the look of the new version of your site. Smoother looking.

 

It does stand out better with the black but also looks really good with red.

Maybe you should have some pages with black and some with red and see which performs better - sorry I couldnt be more specific

 

Try the 4-link unit with bigger text.

Also, space out the link unit a little, put a break above and below it, see how it looks.

 

OK, I have never used the 4 link ads, might work better for me if they are indeed bigger.

I was also thinking about spacing that area out a little, so I will try that as well.

I think it is better now, atleast you have better keywords in the advertisement itself.

 

Yes, it does have a better look. I will leave it at this color for a while, then switch back to black and see what happens.
