    Hi,

I have some people writting articles for me from here. Now I will be including these in my site, but don't really want to add "article written by My Name". It would really be my name as I am paying for these articles.

These articles will be rightfully mine once paid for and there will be no other copies on the web. So do you think it would be just fine having the articles title and body on my site and the date it was published and that is it or would it look a little unprofessional not to also include the "by author name" part.

There will also be no author resource box as that will not be needed as the articles are only going to be published on my site and nowhere else on the web.

Depends on your agreement with your author.

    There are no rules.

It does depend on what your agreement is with the author. If you get full rights from him to edit, modify or pass off the content as your own, there is no need to give credit to him.

I don't mean giving credit to them. I mean having it so that it shows it was written for me when it was not. I am paying these authors to write unique articles for me where I get the full rights to the article and can do what ever I like. I am only asking would it be best if I had the "article written by me" so that it looks more professional to my visitors looking at the site or wounldn't it matter. Would leaving it out be the best thing to do as it would just be the same author name for every single article on the site?

I've decided what to do now. I will just leave the "written by authorname" out.

You can always put "written by <your site name> staff".

That would be alright, but I don't think I really need it now.

Also, bobchrist I don't really need my url as all the articles will be on my site anyway. If I had my url then others will probably start to think it is there for a reason and will start publishing my articles on their site is I definately don't want to happen. That's why I'm paying good money for unique and original articles.

Thanks for all the tips anyway. I have now decided what to do.

    Hi,

I have just written my forms so that I can quickly submit these articles to my site without having to go to the database everytime. While I was doing that and testing it I was thinking would it be a good idea if I included some links in the articles to my site. I know the articles are going to be on the site itself, but sometimes some people read an article and just click off it once read and may not realise the site they are on has what the article offers. So should I include 1 or 2 links in the article to various sections of the site that match the keywords in the article that best describes that section of could it cause a Google Penalty. I was thinking something like what Wikipedia does. They seem to have links in articles going to other sections of their site that discusses about other stuff.
